Project Description

​

The Oakland Marriott City Center interior renovation involved remodeling the public spaces, converting guestroom tubs to spa-like showers and upgrading to full accessibility standards the public spaces, guestrooms and path of travel throughout the hotel.  The public space upgrades consisted of a new members only MClub lounge, restaurant and bar remodel, and a new grab and go market in the lobby.  The renovation was completed in 2017.

Project Responsibilities

​​

• Construction documents and construction administration for ADA compliance in the renovated public spaces, restrooms, guestrooms and path of travel throughout the hotel to adjoining conference center.

• Schematic design drawings through construction administration for the renovation of the restaurant, bar & lobby.

• Construction documents and construction administration for the guestroom renovation and shower conversion, restaurant, bar and lounge remodel, and addition of a new Grab and Go market in the lobby and members only MClub lounge
